Part two of Joe and Mark's Excellent Journey

Joe and Mark Hanging out with Lisa in her hood (Boise). Congratulations to Lisa on her new job as Legislative Director for a Congressman in Washington, D.C. Notice Mark's materials for the fantasy football league draft. Very important.

Blogger's Travels

Throughout the tail end of the summer, Blogger was confronted with a ton of traveling opportunities. Blogger did not back down!

Joe and Mark's Excellent Journey started in Chicago and ended in Portland. Stops included The Badlands, Wall Drug, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Idaho Falls, Boise, and a round of golf overlooking the Bridge of the Gods.

Blogger overlooking the lower falls at Yellowstone. Notice his Stars and Stripes shirt. This is one of two shirts worn on the journey. A concession to societal norms that frown on the same shirt being worn everyday.
Badlands. Joe and Mark agree: The Badlands are a great example of the creativity of the American marketing mind. What can you say to draw people here? "flowing streams?" "Vibrant plant life?" "Towering mountains?" Well, how about none of thee above to the point that you just have to see this place?

Actually, it was pretty cool for being so uncool. Landscape Napoleon Dynamite.

Me at old faithful.
